Power Out in Arlington

The winds are starting to take their toll around the metro area. TBD is reporting that around 1,300 are without electricity in South Arlington near Crystal City due to downed trees on power lines. Power Out: Not Really Something To Shout About

The power outages that have wracked near-Maryland and north Virginia today have largely left the District unaffected. Pepco shows just a smattering of outages throughout D.C. — whereas more than 600 outages are being reported in College Park alone. Wheaton and Silver Spring are also reporting several dozen outages….
