D.C. Water is doing some spring cleaning.

Arlington County officials are warning residents living downstream from an Upper Long Branch stream to avoid drinking or coming contact with its water. The warning stems from reports that a manhole was discharging sewage and flowing into the stream. The precaution is until the sewage is stopped and naturally filtered out of the water system. Keep in mind that the affected area begins near the Long Cranch Nature Center and continues through Four Mile Run….
