Update: D.C. Finally Regains Control Of Its Youth Rehabilitation Services After 35 Years
The news comes after the city finally reached a settlement agreement to terminate court oversight.
According to a report from D.C. Department of Youth Rehabilitation Services, 52 percent fewer youths under the agency’s supervision were re-arrested during the first six months of 2013, as compared to 2011.
