U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder To Step Down
According to two sources, NPR reports that Holder has been “increasingly ‘adamant'” about wanting to step down as Attorney General and once a successor is confirmed.
“What we do is simply bring cases when they are ready to go, and sometimes it is awkward, but it is the best way to do these things irrespective of what the fallout is going to be.”
U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder was briefly hospitalized today after experiencing faintness and shortness of breath.

Protesters gathered at Freedom Plaza Wednesday to march on Covington & Burling, a law firm where Holder was once a partner.
The attorney general also defended the investigation that led to the seizure of two months’ worth of AP phone records.
The Justice Department obtained two months of telephone records from a group of reporters and editors at the Associated Press in a secret probe, the AP itself reports.
