Challenger Erin Palmer says DC Council Chairman Phil Mendelson isn’t rising to the challenges the city faces.

Incumbent Phil Mendelson and challenger Erin Palmer split on mayoral control of schools and the clearing of homeless encampments, while mayoral candidate Robert White said Mayor Muriel Bowser “does not care about vulnerable people.”
