With the National Weather Service’s issuance this afternoon of a heat advisory for tomorrow in anticipation of temperatures expected to each 100 degrees, Metro is once again relaxing its prohibition on bottled water aboard its trains and buses.

With another heat wave coming in, Metro will allow passengers to drink water aboard buses and trains. But it’s going to be hot all summer. Why not make it permanent? Don’t count on that, Metro says.

Metro is allowing riders to carry and drink water on buses and trains today and tomorrow.
