Good Stuff Eatery Coming to Georgetown, Crystal City
Spike Mendelsohn will reportedly double-down in the Washington region — Washingtonian reports that Mendelsohn will open new Good Stuff Eateries in both Georgetown and Crystal City next year.

Redskins Rank Second to Last in Franchise Ratings
The popularity of the Washington R*******, despite Washington’s lemming-like insistence on religiously following the team regardless of its failures on the field and off, has been in the toilet for some time. But we never realized things were this bad (okay, maybe we did): Dan Snyder’s cash cow is the second-worst franchise in professional sports.
That’s according to The Feast, who interviewed the fedora-ed one during the South Beach Wine & Food Festival. Mendelsohn said in the chat that he’s started a franchising company and plans to expand his Good Stuff Eatery concept across the country, beginning with Philadelphia, Chicago (gotta maintain that Obama favor, after all) and another location in D.C.

Amsterdam Falafelshop To Franchise
It’s true — we love Amsterdam Falafelshop. One of the city’s more optimal quick/drunk/comfort foods, the Falafelshop a must-stop for any adventure into the dark wilderness that is 18th Street NW on a weekend night. But it looks like we’re going to need to learn how to share our pita-stuffed goodness with a lot more people: the restaurant’s ownership announced this morning that they are actively looking to franchise.
