Dâm-Funk‘s journey from the musical backbone of the “G-Funk” sound to the spotlight of his own unique sound has him reaching new heights in the world of funk.
When the tag line attached to a group bills them as “the only successful Arab/Jew partnership since the dawn of human culture,” you can’t help but have a slight chuckle and your curiosity piqued. For the better half of a decade, Montreal duo Chromeo, comprised of David “Dave 1” Macklovitch and Patrick “P-Thugg” Gemayel, have used their keen wit as the icing on a pretty sweet musical cake.
