A benefit concert last night went on as a memorial to the punk fixture.

Perhaps the most well-known anniversary performer is Laura Jane Grace, the transgender lead singer of Against Me!, who will perform on Wednesday, August 14.

Three weeks ago, John Stabb, singer from legendary D.C. hardcore act Government Issue, was attacked and beaten near his home in Burtonsville, Maryland.
