It’s 1987 all over again in the movie adaptation of the jukebox musical Rock of Ages, a movie so troubling that we just wanted to reminisce about how awesome Guns N’ Roses used to be.

Three hours and 35 songs — that would seem like quite the Guns N’ Roses show, right? Sure, but last night’s performance at The Fillmore in Silver Spring was sapped of its energy by meandering instrumentals and solos.

A chance to go see Guns N’ Roses at The Fillmore in Silver Spring just got a lot more expensive. You now have to ask yourself — how much is Axl Rose worth to me?

Sure, we could have said that Guns N’ Roses was set to play a show at the Filmore in Silver Spring on February 23, but that would be doing the memory of an otherwise great band a disservice.
