Fewer Jobs But More Money for D.C. if FBI Relocates
According to a report released today by the office of D.C. Chief Financial Officer Natwar Gandhi, the FBI moving to the suburbs could boost the city government’s tax revenue by $28 million.
A rumored move of the FBI headquarters to a site near Union Station is news to the Government Printing Office, which owns the land.
With The Washington Post’s headquarters potentially going on the market, the paper’s publisher says she wants to keep it in the District, “if possible.”
