WUSA9’s Bruce Johnson and Danielle Gill were attacked by a woman while reporting on a story yesterday.
A pregnant woman’s fetus has died after the mother was stabbed and seriously injured in a home invasion early Thursday morning in the Washington Highlands neighborhood, police said.

Home-Invasion Robbery in Oxon Hill
The Post’s Matt Zapotosky is reporting that a woman was held at gunpoint in her home in Oxon Hill this morning during a home-invasion robbery perpetrated by three men. Arrest Made in Shaw Sexual Assault
D.C. Police announced Thursday that they have made an arrest in the April 6 sexual assault of a female victim inside her home in the 1500 block of Marion Street NW. Police say physical evidence linked a suspect to the attack, and 25-year-old George Leroy Clowers of no fixed address has since been arrested and charged with first degree sexual abuse and burglary one. Bethesda Area Homicide Linked to Home Invasions
WJLA is all over the news that Montgomery County investigators linked DNA evidence from the crime scene of the homicide of a Bethesda area woman to two other home-invasion burglaries in the neighborhood.
