Joe Biden’s team is encouraging guests to stay home for this year’s inauguration.

The mayor is urging the federal government to cancel all public demonstrations on federal property in D.C., saying the threat of extremist activity must be taken seriously.

The inauguration ceremony’s presence in D.C. “will be extremely limited.”

The U.S. Attorney’s Office of D.C. did not include one defendant’s name in the motion to dismiss, however.

It’s the latest in a slew of dismissals from the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

The Office of Police Complaints is looking into whether that’s “appropriate.”

People involved with the planning of protests on Inauguration Day in D.C. were in court to fight a search warrant that would require Facebook to give prosecutors 90 days-worth of their account information.

“Opening up a person’s Facebook account can open up a person’s entire life.”

The trials will move forward.

But the court will oversee federal prosecutors’ search of the information.
