Last Friday was a big day for J.J., a bulldog puppy that’s being groomed to be Georgetown University’s new official mascot—he was officially unveiled to students, faculty and staff at the university after a cross-country trip from his California home.

The recent news that Georgetown’s official mascot Jack the bulldog had injured himself and might require surgery bummed plenty of people out. Well, good news is on its way—and it’s adorable.
