Kevin Spacey Takes Capital Bikeshare For A Spin
Oscar winner Kevin Spacey is in town today to deliver the Nancy Hanks Lecture on Arts and Public Policy to a Americans for the Arts’ annual Arts Advocacy Day. But before delivering the speech at the Kennedy Center this evening, Spacey stopped by the White House for a tour — and check out how he was getting around. Spacey posed in front of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue on top of a Capital Bikeshare bicycle, joking on his Twitter account that his tour “had a very small carbon footprint.”

Ask DCist: Movie Crew in Northwest
I was just wondering if DCist knows about a movie that is being filmed today on 16th & Kalorama, right across from Meridian Hill park. When I walked by on my way to work there was a camera crew set up filming in front of the building right on the corner that has recently been renovated. They were filming someone dressed in what I think was a military uniform walking out of the door. Any…
