District Introduces Design for Chuck Brown Park
District officials hope that by the end of the summer, a large section of Ward 5’s Langdon Park will be completely transformed into Chuck Brown Park, in memory of the “Godfather of Go-Go.”
Mayor Vince Gray declared that today—and future August 22s—will be known in the District as Chuck Brown Day, a tribute to the late Godfather of Go-Go who died in May at 75.
