As the coronavirus spreads in communities across the country, little free library owners have had to grapple with the possibility that their instinct to help could be harming people instead.

The head of the D.C. Public Library weighed in, too.

Ken Samson, a Takoma Park resident, just launched a Kickstarter to help fund the construction of 12 more Little Free Libraries to go up in Takoma, the D.C. historic district, and Takoma Park, Md.
