Cat Spay-a-thon Coming Soon
The D.C. Cat Assistance Team, an organization aiming to “humanely reduce the feral and stray cat population” in the District will conduct a weekend spay-a-thon called “Feline Frenzy” for D.C. cats at $5 per animal. “If cats could practice safe sex, they would,” DC CAT says in a press release. Red Van With Man From Red Flannel Town
In case anyone was wondering whether yesterday’s standoff between the man in the red van near the White House was a distressed constituent from out of town, sure enough, he was. In fact, the man, Lowell Timmers, is from Cedar Springs, Mich., a small exurban town north of Grand Rapids called Red Flannel Town USA.
