They will submit two plans each: One for a stand-alone library and one for a mixed-use building with additional floors.
DCPL said “no decisions have been made on the type or the extent of the renovations or additions to the library.”

The city’s public libraries will see a big boost under a new budget being proposed today by Mayor Vince Gray, with money being set aside for the renovation of the central branch and funds allocated for extending hours of operation at neighborhood libraries.
