Maryland Gov. Wes Moore Responds To Concerns That His Proposed Housing Legislation Overreaches
The governor testified that his housing proposal will give “incentives … not mandates” to local jurisdictions.
The proposal from Maryland Del. Adrian Boafo would ask voters to decide, similar to how D.C. residents voted in 2022 on a ballot initiative to do away with the tipped minimum wage.
The money will support health care for families and their children as part of the Blueprint for Maryland’s Future education reform plan.
