Community transmission of COVID is now “high” again, triggering a recommendation that all individuals, regardless of vaccination status, mask up indoors.

The ruling only applies to the schools and classrooms relevant to the plaintiffs in the case, not schools across the state.

The University of Maryland and George Mason University both made masks optional for indoor settings earlier this month.
