Over the next two weeks, you’ll be enticed both by mounds of meat and volumes of vegetables. Yep, it’s back-to-back Meat Week and Meat-Free Week.

This week, a number of local denizens are celebrating Meat Week, a bacchanal celebration of barbecue and other forms of carnivorous enjoyment. In response, DC Vegan is hosting a Meat-Free Week from February 7-14 to highlight the plethora of meatless options around town.
