In a letter to the Department of Health, Grosso urges them to expand the list of qualifying conditions for medical marijuana to include endometriosis, post-traumatic stress disorder, epilepsy, dystonia, and Crohn’s disease.

The Medical Marijuana Advisory Committee will “monitor best practices in other states, monitor scientific research on the use of medical marijuana and measure the effectiveness of the District’s medical marijuana program.”
