Remember we stumbled upon a Mercedes-Benz convertible peculiarly branded with vanity license plates reading “OCCUPY”? It threw us off a bit. The car’s owner tells us he’s a firm backer of the Occupy movement.

With their tuition, housing, meals and student fees topping out at close to $60,000, perhaps we shouldn’t be surprised when we see GWU students in cars that, on balance, seem way too nice for any 18-to-22-year-old to be driving. Still, damn.

The Metro can be a boring place. Next stop, yadda yadda, doors on the right, zzz.
