After years of renovations, the Malcolm X Park will be fully accessible once again with a few new features. But the fountain is still broken.

Looking Back: Warder-Totten Mansion
The Warder-Totten Mansion was built on 15th and K Streets by famed architect H.H. Richardson in 1886 in a Romanesque style. Originally the home of Benjamin Warder, the owner of the company that later became International Harvester, the house quickly fell into a state of neglect once the Warder family left the building.

New Filming Rules Proposed on Federal Lands
We were alerted yesterday via the Art Law Blog that the U.S. Department of the Interior is gearing up to change motion and still photography rules on federally run lands. Traffic Alert: 16th St. Closures
Officials are warning drivers that roads around the 2400 block of 16th St, NW are partially closed while crews repair yesterday’s water main break. This morning only one southbound lane was open in the are around Meridian Hill Park, with northbound traffic diverted to Florida Ave. At 12:45 p.m. Alert D.C. announced that the 2400 block of 16th St. will be closed for six to eight hours.
