Kingsbury disappeared from his Trinidad home in early July. A massive police search ended tragically the next day when his body was found in a car 40 feet from his home.

A funeral for the seven-year-old autistic boy who went missing from his Northeast home last week and was later found dead in a car will be held this morning.

It wasn’t until a veteran detective looked into the car Monday around 5:55 p.m. that the body was discovered on the floor of the rear seat.

The search for a seven-year-old boy who was reported missing Sunday morning from his family’s home in the Trinidad neighborhood of Northeast D.C. appears to have ended tragically.

The family is being questioned, but at this time no foul play is suspected.
