Ralph Friedgen went out a winner in his final game as head coach of the Maryland Terrapins yesterday afternoon — his team rolled past the East Carolina Pirates, 51-20, in a game that was never in doubt.

In what will be the most compelling Military Bowl (née EagleBank Bowl) in the game’s brief, three-year history, the hometown Maryland Terrapins (8-4, 5-3 ACC) will take on the East Carolina Pirates (6-6, 5-3 C-USA) in RFK Stadium tomorrow afternoon.
