The new artwork will include a massive portrait of D.C.’s late jazz saxophonist Buck Hill.

The first one is already up in Ward 4, and the remainder will be popping up over the next two months.

They should all be completed by mid-October.

The city saw an influx of new works this fall.

The city is once again looking for commercial properties, chronically targeted by graffiti, to beautify through its MuralsDC program. Sadly, private residences are not eligible.
