Alexandria Is Bringing Narcan To Restaurants
As the opioid crisis continues, the Alexandria Health Department is training staff at restaurants to use the naloxone nasal spray that reverses opioid overdoses.
As D.C. records its highest numbers of fatal overdoses, advocates are pushing leaders to invest in holistic harm reduction.
Students will have to get trained to carry the naloxone nasal spray Narcan. Arlington Public Schools says the measure is one of several they’re taking in response to a rise in opioid overdoses.
