Watkins Hornets Win Pee Wee Football National Championship

Image courtesy EOM A hearty congratulations to D.C.’s own Watkins Hornets, who took home the Pee Wee Division 1 National Football Championship on Saturday, defeating the Florida City Razorbacks 22-8. The team, the first from D.C. ever to compete in Disney’s Wide World of Sports’ Pop Warner National Championship series, traveled to Orlando for the game.
