An icon of Black culinary innovation, the colorful kitchen now has a new home at the museum.

A little piece of Wakanda is coming to D.C. this spring as a part of the NMAAHC’s Afrofuturism exhibit.

“It really gives us a sense of a vibrant, an active Harriet Tubman.”

More than 80 movies by and about African Americans will be screened in D.C. next week.

The National Museum of African American History and Culture’s first film festival will include a partnership with a streaming giant.

The museum is expected to decide on a plan to publicly display the items this week.

Including President Trump, who today said “this tour was a meaningful reminder of why we have to fight bigotry, intolerance, and hatred in all of its very ugly forms.”

There are several road closures, and public transportation is encouraged.

Culinary ambassador Carla Hall and executive chef Jerome Grant have crafted a wide-ranging (and delicious) menu at the National Museum of African American History and Culture’s cafe.

The limited-edition cards can be purchased online tomorrow and elsewhere next week.
