We know Maryland fans may not agree with us right now, but is there a better time of year for sports fans than March? That’s a rhetorical question because the answer is a resounding no. Football is in it’s free agent signing period, baseball is down South preparing for opening day, teams in the NBA start jockeying for playoff position and college basketball starts preening for the camera as the spotlight shines upon it….

Weekend Hoops Roundup: Maryland v. Duke Edition

Local Hoops Roundup
It was quite a night for the local hoops teams, both on the college and professional level. Gary Williams and his terrible Terps traveled to Durham and took out the previously unbeaten and 2nd ranked Blue Devils in a 75-66 contest that was much closer than the final score indicated.
