The transit system is opening two hours earlier on Sunday for the Marine Corps Marathon.

Plus, Metrorail will run on a weekend schedule on Columbus Day.

Plan accordingly if you’re using the Blue, Orange, or Silver Lines.

And Orange, Blue, and Silver Line trains will run every 24 minutes due to maintenance work.

Green, Silver, Blue, and Yellow Line trains will run every 15 minutes due to maintenance work, and Red Line trains will run on a regular weekend schedule.

White Flint, Grosvenor-Strathmore, Medical Center, and Bethesda stations will be closed due to maintenance work.

White Flint, Grosvenor-Strathmore, Medical Center, and Bethesda stations will be closed from Saturday through Monday.

Crews will be working to replace ceiling tiles at the two stations and the lower level of Metro Center.

Branch Avenue, Suitland, and Naylor Road stations will be close as part of an extended shutdown on the Green Line.

There’s no scheduled maintenance on the Orange, Blue, Green, and Silver Lines.
