D.C. Accidentally Sends Google $300K Tax Bill
D.C.’s Office of Tax and Revenue recently hit Google Inc. with a $300,000 tax lien. But it was just a clerical error.
A former employee of D.C.’s Office of Tax and Revenue pleaded guilty today to taking part in a scheme to file fraudulent tax returns that raked in $14.7 million in local and federal funds.
