Gray Administration Requires Confidentiality Agreements for One City Performance Review
The Washington Post reports that over the past two weeks Mayor Vince Gray’s administration has handed out confidentiality agreements to nearly 100 staffers which prohibit them from revealing any potential cost-saving and revenue-raising measures they discuss during the One City Performance Review of city government this year.

So This Is What “One City” Looks Like?
Though he campaigned on the theme of “One City,” Mayor Vince Gray’s election showed a city starkly divided along racial and geographic lines. And though Gray’s branded everything that doesn’t move with the “One City” slogan since taking office, the results of the April 26 At-Large Special Election seem to show that we’re no closer to Gray’s dream of citywide unity than we were a year ago.

One City Taking Over Everything
At the risk of stepping on Martin’s toes, there’s one section of today’s D.C. Register which absolutely required special mention. According to Executive Order 2011-45, “Policy Establishing a Standard for Official Letterhead, Publications and Signage,” you’ll be seeing a lot more of “One City” around these parts — like everywhere the D.C. government maintains a presence.
