In an email to subscribers today, pay-by-phone parking app Parkmobile admitted that maybe it was a little simplistic to pin an increase in transaction fees on financial reform legislation passed by Congress.

Yesterday Parkmobile blamed Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) for an increase in transaction fees that’s hitting users of the pay-by-phone parking app. Today, Durbin fired back, saying that it’s credit card companies that are to blame.
