D.C. United took some time out of its busy schedule to lend a helping hand at D.C. Central Kitchen yesterday afternoon, and we thought we’d take a moment to share their good deed with you.

D.C. United players weren’t battling it out against fierce competitors on the field yesterday, but were rather visiting patients at the National Children’s Medical Center—many of whom have faced their own significant battles.
