The owner of the plaza at 18th Street and Columbia Road NW has been trying to sell the land to a developer for more than five years, but community groups have been pushing back.

Community groups filed a suit to prevent development at the Adams Morgan location.

It’s the latest salvo in a fight over the development of condominiums on a beloved Adams Morgan gathering place.
