The award-winning local brewery has reached a point where its greatest challenge is its own success.

They not only came home with three medals for individual beers, but they took home the coveted Small Brewing Company, Brewer of the Year award.

This year is shaping up to be a great year for beer in the District.

Things are moving quickly around the D.C. beer world. Expanding markets, collaborations, new equipment…oh my! As that old saying goes: “No rest for the brewers.” (Or something like that.)

Our city is getting invaded — and it is going to be a welcome occupation of our pint glasses and beer coasters. 2011 is the year of Washington D.C. beer.
