Has Canada given us anything better than poutine? Canada Day is coming up on Sunday. And what better way to celebrate the peaceful severing from British rule than by stuffing one’s face with a Québécois snack?

The owner of the Eat Wonky food truck, which since its debut in June 2010 served up hot dogs, poutine and whoopie pies, among other satisfying treats, announced today he is coming off the road.

We first told you about Eat Wonky, a food truck which serves up poutine and hot dogs, back in June. Last night, we were invited to preview some of Wonky’s menu items as they prepare to go out for full service today for lunch at Franklin Square, U Street NW tonight, and H Street NE on Saturday night.
