The pilot who crashed his single-engine plane into power lines in Montgomery County last month made several wrong turns and flew below minimum altitudes, according to a preliminary report by the National Transportation Safety Board. 

Power outages in Prince George’s County continue for the third day after powerline damage from Tuesday’s thunderstorms.

According to Dominion Energy’s Outage Map, more than 150 customers are currently experiencing outages in Fairfax and Prince William counties.

The neighborhood has suffered three outages lasting several hours each in the past three months.

Estimated restoration time is 11 a.m.

Another 1,200 have since had power returned, a Pepco spokesman said. A cause has not yet been determined.
