A small group of anarchists came one step closer to bringing down the global capitalist order by…breaking a window at a Chinatown Hooters.
Yesterday’s inaugural festivities went off relatively well, but there were still issues with Metro, Jumbotrons, cell phone service, and scheduling.

Now that President Obama has been sworn in, next up is the parade—and there’s plenty of local representation.
A full century ago, President Woodrow Wilson was sworn in for his first term. But those 1913 festivities were plenty different to what we’re experiencing today, when President Obama will take the oath of office for his second term.
The two trucks that make up the Fojol Brothers’ food truck empire are out of commission today, booted at 12th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW.
