Good morning, D.C. Beautiful day out today, perfect for your last day on earth before the Rapture. If you see some people doing crazy things today, you must chalk it up to the fear they won’t be around tomorrow. Judgment is supposed to hit at 6 p.m. local so, see you guys at the bar. While it seems that the Rapture has been a bit of a bust so far, I think us Washingtonians have never turned down an excuse to day drink.

Metro Responds to ‘Rapture’ Culprit

Yesterday we showed you how someone had added a spoof image on a Metro rail car suggesting that “Rapture” is a behavior that’s banned on the transit system. Today, WMATA’s director of public relations, Lisa Farbstein, sent us the agency’s response to the mystery culprit. “We may be a big agency, but we have a sense of humor too!” Farbstein wrote in an email.
