D.C. United’s decisive Eastern Conference semifinal match was finally played on Thursday evening, and it couldn’t have ended better, as the black and red handed the New York Red Bulls a 1-0 loss en route to the conference finals.

After Hurricane Sandy forced D.C. United to give up it’s home-field advantage, the club’s decisive Eastern Conference semi-final match was postponed last night due to a freak early November snowstorm in New York.

We hate to be the ones to admit it, but the soccer in New York really was sooooo much better than in D.C. as the Red Bulls handed United a humbling defeat on Sunday.
