D.C. Taxis Can Now Pick Up Your Uber Ride
Uber announced a new partnership that would give all D.C. taxi drivers access to Uber trip referrals. The goal is to increase the driver pool and shorten wait times.
ShareNow, formerly car2go, isn’t the only carsharing service to pull out of the area in recent years.
HopSkipDrive launched in northern Virginia this week, and will expand to D.C. and Maryland in the coming months.
The Lyft app is no longer just about ridehailing. It will now also show public transportation times, alongside the company’s expanding portfolio of alternative transit options.
