Metro’s attempt to promote its Rush Plus service with free fare cards will have to be rescheduled after bumping against the the Jewish High Holy Days.

Metro’s grand plan to ease rush-hour congestion by attempting to divert Blue Line passengers onto the Yellow Line isn’t working out quite as well as envisioned, the transit agency said Friday.

If your rush hour commute on Metro seemed different than usual, that’s because it probably was—today Metro kicked off its Rush Plus rush hour service.
