The company also suspended service in San Francisco, the only other city it operates in, “out of an abundance of caution.”

It joins four other one-named scooter companies that are currently operating in the city. 

An electric scooter-sharing operation has been in contact with the D.C. Department of Transportation, WTOP reports.

“I’m both saddened and maddened that we’re planning yet another memorial ride for somebody who died on D.C.’s roads.”

The man who drove his scooter through the Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro station at least twice last weekend also took his vehicle for a ride on a Metro train.

Where was the driver going? No one knows.
