A pair of chefs are re-imagining what casual Asian food can be, and having plenty of fun doing it.

Party swag from the RAMMY Awards featured the city’s star chefs on playing cards.

They’ve added a custom-designed table for a party of four to go all in on.

At a special event at The Source on Monday, the famed, enigmatic chef steps into the spotlight.

The Burger Battle pitted chefs from around the D.C. area in a competition to determine who could create the most inventive meat patty sandwich.

The Source‘s Scott Drewno came out on top at D.C. Central Kitchen’s 7th annual Capital Food Fight, which took place last night at the Ronald Reagan Building. The Fight pitted Chefs Victor Albisu (BLT Steak), Will Artley (Evening Star Cafe), Spike Mendelsohn (Good Stuff Eatery and We, the Pizza) and Drewno against each other in an Iron Chef-style cooking competition.

The Source chef Scott Drewno has already snagged the prestigious title of D.C. Chef of the Year. Now he’s picked up two more honors to add to his collection: at the American Institute of Food and Wine’s 5th annual “I Love Crab Cakes!” competition on Monday at Phillips Seafood at the Southwest Waterfront, Drewno’s riff on a BLT sandwich won him both the people’s choice award and top honores from the judges’ panel of D.C. chefs and food journalists.
