A security guard at the Hirshhorn Museum shot and killed himself this afternoon. The museum is closed as police investigate.

A security guard working in the lobby of a Chinatown office building was shot earlier today, a spokesman for the Metropolitan Police Department said.

Will Eastman, a DJ and a co-owner of U Street Music Hall, apologized yesterday to his club’s patrons for the action taken by a security guard during a set last weekend by the Swedish pop star Robyn.
