Some Circulator Service To Change Tomorrow
A public meeting will be held tonight to discuss the long-term future of the D.C. Circulator, including a potential fare hike and the extension and creation of new routes over the next couple of years. But the D.C. Department of Transportation has instituted some more immediate changes which will go into effect tomorrow, including the termination of service along the Smithsonian-National Gallery of Art route.
Photo by d’namur WMATA has announced service changes on a number of Metrobus routes in D.C., Maryland and Virginia that will begin Sunday, March 28. In D.C., several bus lines are being temporarily rerouted due to construction of the new Constitution Center at 7th and D Streets SW. Routes 5A (the Dulles Airport line), 52, 54, 70, 71, A9, V5, V7, V8, and V9 will be affected by these minor changes. For more details…
